History of the Early Years>
Owner and Director Maureen Bergdahl has a degree in Early Childhood Education from Penn State University. She has been in the child care business for 30 years opening her first center in 1978. Her never ending love for children has allowed her to teach an untold amount of children. She believes that children are the future and this passion can be seen through her staff and at her child care facilities.
Our Mission
We are committed to the development of the total child; emotionally, intellectually, and physically. These goals are met through experiences that are suited to the maturity level and growth pattern of each child. We strive to accomplish this through a supportive,and safe environment. We believe that it is important to develop self-confidence and self-discipline in the beginning of a child's life. Through this the child will learn responsibility and independence which is essential for the child's future. The child will also be able to develop in listening, will have a better attention span,and will be better at following directions. We believe that a positive self-image and ego will help your child enter all areas of learning, development with confidence and enthusiasm. The children will be able to accomplish this through exploring, discovering, and creativity. We believe that children are our future!!!!!!!!!!!
